Experience a glass enthusiast’s heaven inside the world-famous Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington. The service begins from your hotel, where your personal local expert will pick your party up in a Pearl Chevrolet Suburban LTZ to provide private transportation to the Museum of Glass, located 45 minutes south of Seattle, in Tacoma. During the drive, your guide will lay the groundwork for you, providing a brief history of glass-blowing in the Pacific Northwest along with what to expect when you arrive.

The Museum of Glass in Tacoma is inherently a maker’s space. The Hot Shop and Hot Shop Team — considered to be among the finest in the world — provide rare public access to glassmaking demonstrations, and host dozens of Visiting Artist Residencies annually, including students from the Hilltop Artists program, contributing to the development of individual artist careers and the global glass art community.

Expect professional, courteous service and an entertaining tour.  Our Suburban seats 5 comfortably (6 max) with 1 front passenger seat, 2 captain’s chairs in the middle row, and bench seating for 3 (2 comfortably) in the rear. Includes heat & A/C, radio/CD, Auxiliary, USB port & limited rear luggage space (additional charge for luggage).
