Private Group Tours to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Each April, the Skagit Valley hosts the largest tulip festival in North America: The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. What started as a 2-day festival in 1984 has grown to a month-long celebration of fields upon fields of vibrant tulips. Witness the bloom of over a million tulips, spanning hundreds of varietals, a truly once in a lifetime experience!

Your tour begins with pickup from your Seattle-area location and narration in route to Mt. Vernon and the Skagit Valley. Learn about how the valley both feeds and powers the Puget Sound area as well as how it became a mecca for growing tulips. Choose between a visit to Tulip Town or Tulip Valley Farms, which each offers a unique experience for visitors. Tulip Town is what you think of when you imagine the tulip fields in The Netherlands – rows upon rows of vibrant color blocks of flowers, plenty of Instagram-worthy photo opportunities and the ability to purchase your own bouquet or bulbs to take home! Tulip Valley Farms is for those looking for a more hands-on, farm experience as it is the only U-Pick Tulip Farm in the Skagit Valley. Instead of rows upon rows of color blocks, Tulip Valley Farms intermixes their tulips, making more varieties accessible for guests to hand-pick themselves! With access to micro-mini Highland Cows, this stop is a true farm experience.

After taking in the Tulips, we’ll head over to the charming town of La Conner, which sits on the picturesque Swinomish Channel. With a population of under 1,000, La Conner is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a classic Pacific Northwest lunch at one of the many eateries in town. Guests will have time for lunch and a bit of shopping/browsing before departing for home.

We’ll make one last stop on our way out of the valley, at the locally-famous Snow Goose Produce. Grab an ice cream treat, or stock up on local honey and produce on our last stop of the day.

Expect professional, courteous service and an entertaining tour. We operate clean, well-maintained vehicles, featuring comfortable seating. We have a variety of vehicles for this tour, depending on your group size.

Our friendly and knowledgeable licensed guides are the reason we’ve received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for 12 years running and over 2,000 5-star reviews.

Private Seattle Tours FAQ

AWESOME

We loved the tour!! My husband was born and raised in Seattle, but moved to Ohio 20 years ago. He learned many things that he didn’t know and got to see many of the new changes!! Ron H., our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks again!

A must do tour of Seattle!

For Trish this is not just a job; she loves Seattle. Her knowledge of all varieties of history, things to do, places to see, businesses that have been here and just recently arrived is amazing. The places we went to were awesome. Definitely a tour to do and if you can request Trish do so.

– Shawn M. from South Carolina
EXCELLENT CITY TOUR

I experienced the 3 hour tour with Gary and it was well worth it. He was very informative and kept us listening for the whole duration.

– Deborah from Yukon, Canada
GREAT WAY TO LEARN ABOUT SEATTLE

Saw all the major tour sites including Pike Street Market, Seattle Center, the historic old town area, and the fish ladder. Enjoyed seeing the Fremont troll. Out tour guide, Lance, was very knowledgeable. There were just three of us on the rainy Sunday tour, but my wife and I really enjoyed our fellow passenger. We went to lunch together at the 2 hour stop at the Pike Street Market.
